See you next year!
Welcome, Turkey Trotters!

The Mini-Cassia Turkey Trot is 17 years strong in 2022! This race is an inclusive event that continues to grow year after year in a spirit of fun, good health and positive community relationships. From participants to volunteers to our incredibly generous donors and sponsors, we continually see the best in people as we come together for this race. There is something for everyone to enjoy, so whether you want to run, walk, waddle or trot, or if volunteering is more your speed, find a way to join us and be part of this marvelous Mini-Cassia area tradition.
The Turkey Trot has been an important part of my family’s Thanksgiving tradition. We have only missed one Turkey Trot since it began. My children are now grown, but they still look forward to running this event with our entire family each year. You can have just as much fun if you choose to walk or run. My family would not miss this great community event.
Scott Thompson The Turkey Trot is a great holiday tradition. There is nothing better than a run on Thanksgiving morning with friends and family – whether it is 6 degrees or in the 40’s. Also, every year there has been a lot of community involvement and support, whether a runner, walker, bystander, or volunteer. The volunteers are great!
Sandra Burch We have a tradition of running the mini-Cassia Turkey Trot every year as a family. I have never in 14 years regretted putting in those 3.12 miles on Thanksgiving morning! There is no better way to start out your day running a well organized race with an amazing community. We are not from the area, but love the energy and enthusiasm the race directors, organizers, and volunteers bring each year. If you're considering signing up for this race, my advice is just do it!
Natalie Rojas The Mini-Cassia Turkey Trot 5k has been a family favorite for many years! It is a family friendly event which all 8 of my family have run/walked. It is well organized, and the atmosphere is fun. The course is extremely flat and fast, depending on the weather. Some years it is warm and nice, other years it is cold and snowy, other years nice but windy. But no matter the weather, we have always come away glad we participated. It's a great way to build an appetite for all the festivities of Thanksgiving!
Thank you to the race organizers for putting on such a well-run race!
